What a flight of fantasy this exquisite experience will bring!

Fly in a classic De-Havilland Float Plane from the historic Juneau waterfront. Every seat is a window seat for super viewing and picture taking. Your friendly pilot will point out all the sights and show you the beautiful glaciers south of Juneau: Taku Glacier, the Twin Glaciers, Norris Glacier, Hole in the Wall Glacier and Dead Branch Glacier.

After a breathtaking flight over beautiful snow-capped craggy mountains, you will land on the Taku River and enter the relaxing atmosphere surrounding the Taku Glacier Lodge. Tour the grounds, then have a fantastic meal of fresh king salmon grilled over an Alder wood fire, and lots of side dishes.

The homemade food is outstanding and the friendly people are lots of fun. The delicious odors of the outdoor grill have been known to attract curious bears, so keep your camera handy! After your meal, you may choose to go on a walk around the grounds. Return to the plane for your trip back and be astounded again at the raw beauty of Southeast Alaska. This trip will take a total of three hours. The tour departs from the Wings Airways Sea Drome by Marine Park in downtown Juneau.
